Our Schools, Our Future, Our Control
Restoring Excellence: Three Pillars of Reform
Protect Local Control:
Avert a TEA Takeover
NEISD stands at a critical crossroads. We must prioritize strict compliance with state law and proactive governance to ensure our schools remain in the hands of our community not state bureaucrats. I am committed to navigating these legal requirements with precision to protect our district's independence and keep the power of education local.
Restoring Fiscal Sanity:
Closing the $18M+ Deficit
With an $18+ million deficit looming, "business as usual" is no longer an option. Our students deserve a budget that prioritizes the classroom over administrative bloat, I will apply a rigorous, line-item approach to district spending to eliminate waste, balance the scales, and ensure that every taxpayer dollar is an investment in our children's future.
Dedicated Advocacy:
Empowering Teachers & Students
A thriving district starts with supported educators and safe, focused classrooms. I advocate for competitive compensation to retain our best teachers and innovative solutions like geofencing for cell phone management to restore the learning environment. By bridging the gap between administration and the classroom, we can ensure both students and teachers have the tools they need to succeed.
